What are Tubi actors?

Tubi actors are performers who appear in films, series, or other content available on the Tubi streaming platform. They may work in original Tubi productions or in movies and shows that Tubi has licensed from other studios. Like other actors, their roles include portraying characters, delivering lines, and contributing to the overall storytelling. Tubi actors can range from established stars to emerging talent, depending on the specific production and its casting requirements.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Tubi Actor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Tubi Actor, you need strong acting skills, versatility, and experience in film or television, typically supported by formal acting training or a relevant degree. Familiarity with on-camera techniques, self-taping, and industry-standard audition platforms is important for securing roles and delivering professional performances. Adaptability, collaboration, and effective communication help actors stand out when working with diverse casts and production teams. These skills and qualities ensure compelling performances that engage audiences and meet the creative standards of streaming platforms like Tubi.

What qualifications do you need to work at Tubi?

To work as a Tubi actor or content creator, relevant experience in acting, video production, or content creation is often required. Strong communication skills, familiarity with filming equipment or editing software, and the ability to work independently or on a team are also important qualifications.

How to get an acting role on Tubi?

To get an acting role on Tubi, actors should submit their headshots and resumes through casting calls or talent agencies that work with the platform. While Tubi Actors perform in streaming films and shows, YouTube Content Creators produce videos for online audiences. Tubi Actors typically work in professional filming environments, whereas YouTube Creators often work independently from home. Both roles involve content creation but differ in industry, credentials, and work setting.

Does Tubi have casting?

Tubi, as a streaming service, does not have a casting department or casting calls for actors. However, individuals interested in acting roles related to Tubi content should look for casting opportunities through talent agencies or casting platforms that work with production companies creating Tubi original programming. Casting for specific projects is typically managed by production teams and casting directors.

How much money do Tubi actors get paid?

Tubi actors' pay varies depending on the role, experience, and production budget, but they typically earn between $100 and $1,000 per episode or project. Pay rates can also be influenced by union membership and whether the work is paid or unpaid. Many actors supplement their income through multiple roles or additional acting opportunities.

What are some unique challenges Tubi actors face when working on independent film and streaming productions?

Tubi actors often work on independent film projects with smaller budgets and tighter production schedules, which can require adaptability and resourcefulness. These roles may involve working with limited rehearsal time and minimal on-set amenities compared to larger studio productions. Collaborating closely with directors, writers, and smaller crews is common, allowing actors to have more creative input but also demanding flexibility. Networking and self-promotion are also important, as many opportunities are found through industry connections and auditions rather than through traditional casting agencies.

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox CorporationUnder the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world's leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.JOB DESCRIPTION

Red Seat Ventures (RSV) is seeking a Senior Manager, Creator Partnerships, responsible for owning the client experience across a portfolio of RSV creators. Reporting to the SVP, Creator Partnerships, this is a results-oriented, client-facing role focused on driving revenue growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and acting as a cross-functional connector between creators and RSV's internal creator service divisions. You will serve as the primary day-to-day relationship owner for your assigned clients - whether organized by genre, show size, or other criteria - and will be accountable for delivering measurable business outcomes within your portfolio. You will translate creator goals into clear next steps, bring platform and performance guidance back to creators, and drive follow-through across stakeholders to deliver measurable results. Some travel may be required.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of creators, acting as a trusted advisor and internal advocate.

  • Function as the day-to-day liaison between creators and RSV's internal teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and accountability.

  • Partner with clients to identify and develop new monetization opportunities - including spin-off shows, premium subscription tiers, and audience-driven products - and collaborate with Creator Operations and Audience Development to bring these concepts to market.

  • Participate in new client brainstorms to help develop content ideas and formats for original podcasts, bringing cross-portfolio perspective and knowledge of what's resonating in the creator economy.

  • Gather creator goals, content plans, constraints, and feedback; synthesize into actionable next steps that help RSV's creator service teams shape recommendations.

  • Socialize RSV recommendations to creators and their teams, clarify priorities, and drive adoption through structured plans, timelines, and check-ins.

  • Coordinate execution across internal RSV teams (growth, production, operations, marketing, sales) to ensure deliverables, publishing needs, and optimization tasks are completed on time.

  • Run regular partner business reviews: align on goals/KPIs, share performance readouts and insights from the growth team, and track progress against action plans.

  • Identify and triage risks/opportunities (content supply, publishing consistency, platform changes, operational blockers), escalating as needed to keep partners on track.

  • Partner with teams managing internal and third party platforms to coordinate distribution, ensure creator alignment, and support performance improvements.

  • Support monetization initiatives by ensuring creators are prepared for sponsorship/ad opportunities and that internal teams have what they need to execute.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 5+ years of experience in creator partnerships, talent/creator management, digital media, content networks, or platform partnerships.

  • Proven ability to manage high-touch creator relationships and drive alignment and follow-through across multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of YouTube and podcast ecosystems and the growth levers that impact performance (even if you are not the strategy owner).

  • Comfort with performance data and insights: ability to understand analytics, ask the right questions, and communicate takeaways clearly to creators.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional workstreams and keeping projects moving from plan to execution.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills, with a client-service mindset.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and multiple partners.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience working closely with audience development, channel optimization, or editorial/content strategy teams.

  • Familiarity with podcast monetization mechanics (e.g., host-reads, dynamic ad insertion) and/or YouTube monetization basics.

  • Experience supporting owned-and-operated platforms (growth, engagement, retention, conversion).

  • Experience building scalable partner playbooks, templates, and operating cadences.
