Solar Hourly Laborer-Operator

I. GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide various general labor duties in the field on Solar job site projects, including but not limited to: PV Installer, Helper, General Labor, Quality Control.
II. GENERAL ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Clearing debris, preparing the area for installation, and potentially laying out equipment
Keeping the work site clean and organized.
Familiarity with hand and power tools and potentially experience with basic wiring.
Operate hand tools including, but not limited to: Tape measure, wrenches, hammers, drills, rivet guns, shovels, grinders and rakes
Assisting with the assembly and installation of solar panels, racking systems, and other components.
May perform as a Millwright, Solar PV Installer or Quality Control Helper.
May operate PD10, Skid Steer and/or Excavator
Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to convey a positive and professional image to co-workers
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude
Must have reliable transportation
Extended hours of work may occur, with a single shift lasting as long as 12 hours
Full-time employment required.
Overtime and work on weekends and holidays may be required
Perform other duties as assigned or requested
III. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience or training. Some high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
