Eligibility Requirements:

  • Active CNA Certification

  • Minimum 6 months of hospital experience as a CNA/PCT

  • Reliable personal transportation is required, as team members may be asked to travel between campuses during a shift

  • A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to meet driving record standards

Responsibilities

  • PCTs will perform patient care and treatments under supervision of a RN. Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN.

  • Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients.

  • Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule.

  • Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service.

  • Team members under the age of 18 may not independently operate mechanical lift equipment.

Qualifications

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • CNA certification required

  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.

Experience:

  • Six months of hospital clinical experience

Other:

  • Must be 16 years old or older

  • Level 3 Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently , and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
