Job description

Do you have a passion for pickleball and love sharing your knowledge with others? Join the JCC Pickleball Program and help members of all ages and skill levels grow their game in a fun, inclusive, and supportive community.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead engaging pickleball lessons, clinics, and drills for players from beginner to advanced levels.
  • Provide one-on-one and group coaching to improve technique, strategy, and confidence.
  • Foster sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive learning environment consistent with JCC values.
  • Assist with tournaments, special events, and league play.
  • Ensure safety protocols and facility rules are followed at all times.

  • Experience playing and/or coaching pickleball.
  • Pickleball instructor certification (PPR, IPTPA, or PCI) preferred - or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt coaching style to different ages and skill levels.
  • Energetic, dependable, and team-oriented.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
