Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to support PCB assembly, rework, and lab validation activities. This role will work closely with Applications Engineers to build, modify, debug, and maintain evaluation boards and test systems. The ideal candidate has strong soldering skills, attention to detail, and experience working with schematics, test equipment, and electronic assemblies.

Location - Chandler,AZ

Key Responsibilities
• Perform SMT and through-hole soldering, rework, and component replacement on PCBs
• Support board bring-up, modification, and debug activities in the lab
• Assemble and modify cable harnesses, wire assemblies, and mechanical subassemblies
• Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings to execute builds accurately
• Inspect workmanship using microscopes and other inspection tools to ensure quality standards
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues using multimeters and lab equipment
• Maintain ESD compliance and follow lab safety and cleanliness standards
• Document rework, modifications, and test observations clearly and consistently
• Collaborate with engineers to implement design changes and support evaluation efforts

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of electronics assembly or PCB rework experience
• Strong SMT and through-hole soldering skills (IPC standards preferred)
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and work instructions
• Experience with microscopes, hand tools, and basic measurement equipment
• Familiarity with cable assembly, crimping, stripping, and wire termination
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented lab environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting engineering labs or validation teams
• Basic understanding of electronics troubleshooting and circuit fundamentals
