Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Mother Baby to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns, including monitoring recovery from vaginal or cesarean deliveries.
  • Administer blood/blood products, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps safely according to protocols.
  • Float between NICU or L&D units as required for adequate staffing.
  • Assist with post-operative care, including tubal ligations and GYN surgeries.
  • Educate parents on infant care, discharge procedures, and postpartum recovery.
  • Manage medical equipment such as wounds vacuums and ensure proper usage of heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Mother Baby unit or similar clinical setting.
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
  • Experience with postpartum care, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
  • Knowledge of charting systems; Epic experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively conduct newborn assessments and manage thermoregulation.
  • Previous travel experience required; cannot accept first-time travelers.
