Job description

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Evening/Overnight Shifts

Skayter Dean LLC is seeking a dependable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support adults living in a supervised residential setting.


Available Shifts

  • Second shift: 5:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • Third shift: 11:00 PM–8:00 AM

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care, daily living skills, meals, and household routines.
  • Provide appropriate supervision and maintain a safe, respectful environment.
  • Follow each resident’s care plan and scheduled activities.
  • Complete shift notes, incident reports, and other required documentation.
  • Accurately complete Medication Administration Record (MAR) documentation.
  • Report medication concerns or discrepancies promptly.
  • Complete light housekeeping and assigned shift duties.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, coworkers, and management.

Qualifications

  • Previous PCA, DSP, caregiver, group-home, or residential-care experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Medication Administration Record (MAR) is preferred.
  • Medication administration experience or certification is strongly preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Must be dependable, attentive, and able to work independently.
  • Must pass all required background and registry checks.
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
  • Must be able to work a flexible second- and/or third-shift schedule.
