Job description


We are seeking a friendly, reliable Part-Time Retail Cashier to join our PC repair shop. This role is the first point of contact for customers and plays a key part in delivering a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, checking devices in for service, handling payments, answering phones, and providing basic customer support. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
• Check in customer devices for repair or service following company procedures
• Explain service intake, estimates, and timelines clearly
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
• Assist customers with basic questions regarding services, repair status, and store policies
• Check out customers for completed services or retail purchases
• Accurately process cash, credit, and other approved payment methods
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer
• Open and/or close the store following established procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front-of-house area
• Communicate customer concerns or issues to technicians or management
Schedule & Work Environment
• Part-time position
• Daytime, evening, and/or weekend shifts may be required
• Retail storefront environment
Requirements
• Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and comfort using point-of-sale systems
