Our POS / AV Technicians are based out of their homes and go directly to customer sites providing installation, technical support, maintaining and troubleshooting critical point-of-sale (POS), CCTV and/or PC/LAN equipment and restaurant wireless headsets.

Our POS / AV Technicians are based out of their homes and go directly to customer sites providing installation, technical support, maintaining and troubleshooting critical point-of-sale (POS), CCTV and/or PC/LAN equipment and restaurant wireless headsets.
POS / AV Technicians with AVIT do not have specified routes, local offices, or particular boundaries. The position requires extensive travel including weekends and holidays. Travel may be local or national, by vehicle or plane. Overnight visits occur frequently as well.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
  • Minimum 2 years of install and service experience
  • Ability to work varied shifts days, evenings, nights and weekends
  • Pass a background check / drug screen
  • Must be able to provide own tools Interact with clients in a professional manner
  • Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and valid driver's license
  • Ability to stand, lift up to 70 lbs, crawl, climb, and use maximum dexterity for long periods
  • Detail-oriented; write reports, records, and correspondence
  • Follow standard operating procedures
  • Enjoy a fast-paced, high energy environment

PREFERRED:
  • Prior experience with Point-of-Sale equipmentCat5 cabling experience
  • Restaurant wireless headset technical service
  • IT Certifications, A+ or MCSE a plus!
