Job description

Position title: PC Technician

Location: Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC

Clearance required: SECRET

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide desktop and help desk support for SOMTC classrooms. 
  • Support Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve workstation, software, and peripheral issues. 
  • Ensure systems meet security, configuration, and operational standards. 
  • Document support actions and update incident/ticketing systems. 
  • Assist SOMTC staff in maintaining a reliable, secure, and mission ready IT environment.
  • Associate in an IT related field or 4 years of professional experience.
  • DCWF Client Systems Technician (411) at Basic.
  • Networking concepts and protocols.
  • Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Physical components and IT architecture.
  • System operation, maintenance, and security.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • Configuring and validating workstations.
  • Documenting and querying incidents.
