Coordinate Metrology Programmer (PC-DMIS/Calypso)

Location: Anaheim, CA

Day in the role

Each day youโ€™ll transform complex drawings into reliable measurement routines, ensuring our manufactured components meet exacting standards. Youโ€™ll start by reviewing prints and GD&T callouts, then translate them into robust CMM programs. Throughout the day, youโ€™ll verify results, tune routines, and collaborate with engineering and production to close the loop on quality.

What youโ€™ll do
  • Build, refine, and run CMM programs to inspect a variety of parts and assemblies.
  • Decode engineering drawings and specifications to define inspection strategies.
  • Create and sustain measurement routines for both new product introductions and existing lines.
  • Perform routine calibration and basic maintenance on CMM equipment to keep performance optimal.
  • Evaluate measurement results, investigate discrepancies, and produce clear QA reports.
  • Partner with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality concerns.
  • Coach junior team members on effective programming methods and inspection best practices.
  • Track developments in CMM software, sensors, and metrology practices to enhance capability.
