POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for handling all incoming calls to the switchboard & disseminate calls/customers to the appropriate department/person, monitors all alarm indicators, performing over head pages and responsible for the direction of customers to correct locations, page on call staff, page overhead when necessary. Also attend training sessions and employee meetings when requested. Maintain patient confidentiality, respond to emergency CODES when necessary, and maintain a log of all standard and non standard occurrences. Report any problems with telecommunication equipment to the Supervisor. Performs other related job functions as required.
