Position Type: Full-time, hourly, on-site
Pay Rate: $45,000-$55,000 based on experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented, service-minded Payroll Coordinator to join our Finance team and support payroll administration across our restaurant brands.

The Opportunity
This role is responsible for helping ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, supporting compliance with company policies and wage & hour regulations, as well as serving as a helpful resource for Team Member payroll questions. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, solutions-focused, and able to manage sensitive information with professionalism and care.
As part of the iServ team, the Payroll Coordinator will play an important role in supporting our commitment to operational excellence, stewardship, and creating a positive Team Member experience across all locations.
What You'll Do
  • Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for approximately 1,500 employees
  • Review and verify employee hours, wage calculations, deductions, garnishments, bonuses, and PTO
  • Conduct payroll audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and accounting
  • Maintain payroll records and employee payroll files
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from restaurant managers and employees
  • Communicate regularly with store locations regarding payroll corrections, missing information, and timekeeping issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end processes
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and Accounting departments as needed
  • Assist with W-2 preparation and year-end payroll reporting
  • Monitor and maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 2-3 years of high-volume payroll processing experience
  • Experience processing payroll for multi-location operations preferred
  • Restaurant or hospitality industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and payroll best practices
  • Proficiency in Paycom payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
