What You'll Do:

Responsible for performing functions related to the administrative and/or operating payrolls in a timely and accurate manner.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing an integrated client server HR/PR system, the responsibilities and duties include time entry, verification of balances, creating and updating employee tax changes, verification of pay rates, review of system edits, and production and processing of assigned payrolls within established procedures and deadlines.
  • Provides high level of customer service to internal stakeholders and collaborates with team members and other departments as needed.
  • Researches and resolves payroll processing errors in a timely fashion.
  • This role follows new and existing payroll processes and supports the documentation of payroll processes as needed.
  • Organizes payroll processing records as directed for accessibility and record retention purposes.

Qualifications

Education & Credentials:

High school diploma or equivalent, plus job related course work after high school.

Experience:

  • 1 - 2 years of general accounting and related financial experience.
  • 1 - 3 years of payroll experience utilizing a mainframe or client server-based system in an office environment strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.

Competencies:

  • Effective Communication: Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with employees, managers, and external partners regarding payroll-related matters.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Provides a high level of customer service by responding to payroll inquiries, researching issues, and supporting timely and accurate resolution of payroll concerns.
