About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our growing payroll company. This is a fast-paced and challenging environment, ideal for individuals who thrive under pressure and enjoy problem-solving. Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a payroll specialist with a strong focus on payroll processing accuracy and compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing State and Federal Quarterly Business Tax Returns, payroll tax compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive experience in multi-state payroll processing, wage and hour laws, and payroll software systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively handle payroll inquiries and support clients.
  • Experience working with automated payroll systems, processing wages, salaries, deductions, taxes, and other withholdings with precision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while ensuring payroll accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel and troubleshooting payroll-related issues.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and a pleasant personality for client interactions.
