Job description

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven Payroll Administrator to join a dynamic HR team. This role blends payroll expertise with HR support to keep the people and processes running smoothly. You’ll own full-cycle payroll across multiple California locations, ensure compliance, and provide leadership with insightful reporting. Beyond payroll, you’ll also champion employee engagement by leading recognition programs and managing the monthly newsletter.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage accurate, compliant payroll processing across multiple sites
  • Partner with managers on time & attendance, audits, and compliance
  • Support HR functions including onboarding, benefits, and leave tracking
  • Lead employee recognition initiatives and create monthly newsletters


Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of payroll experience (multi-location preferred)
  • 1+ years of human resources support experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll laws, compliance, and reporting
  • Strong Excel and ERP systems skills
  • Payroll certification (FPC/CPP) a plus
