Job description

Join Adecco in a dynamic environment located within Fort Mill, SC. This is an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity to work directly with a Fortune 500 company at their Corporate Distribution Center. If you have a solid background in payroll processing and are looking to advance your career within a reputable organization, this position is ideally suited for you.

About the Role:

As a Payroll Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of Distribution Center payroll (paperwork to pay-sheet processing), Kronos timeclock maintenance, development and statistical reporting from the Kronos timeclock and the PeopleSoft system. You will also be responsible for regular auditing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all payroll activities for distribution center associates, including new hires, employee record updates, terminations, and payroll processing.

  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations and payroll policies.

  • Accurately enter and maintain compensation changes, including annual and bi-annual merit increases, in Kronos.

  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly payroll and attendance reports.

  • Maintain Kronos system data, including department listings, employee records, timecards, PTO, transfers, direct deposits, tax updates, and missed punches.

  • Serve as the Kronos and timekeeping subject matter expert, providing support to employees and management.

  • Audit payroll and timekeeping records to ensure accuracy before payroll processing.

  • Process employee terminations and off-cycle payroll requests for non-exempt staff.

  • Provide payroll and attendance support by responding to employee inquiries and resolving issues.

  • Administer Time & Attendance processes, including absence reporting, leave of absence tracking, no-call/no-show documentation, and related audits.

  • Monitor and enforce attendance policies, including tracking corrective actions and attendance-related separations.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years payroll and or time keeping experience

  • Degree preferred

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus (speak, read, and write)

  • Must be able to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities and possess a sense of urgency.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

  • 10 key by touch

Additional Details:

  • Full-time work hours – 40 hours per week

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
