Tucked into the Wasatch Mountains at Canyons Village in Park City, Utah, Hyatt Centric Park City is your ski resort base camp for mountain adventures year round. In winter, enjoy true ski in/ski out access including the new 10 passenger Sunrise Gondola, steps from the hotel, for faster laps up to Red Pine and beyond. Then unwind in spacious suites, residences, or condo rentals before enjoying après, dining, and Historic Main Street.
At Hyatt Centric Park City, we believe our guests choose us because of our caring and attentive colleagues who are dedicated to delivering thoughtful service and creating meaningful experiences. We are seeking an energetic, service-driven professional to join our Front Office leadership team. This role is ideal for an emerging leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of a dynamic hotel environment.
The Assistant Operations Manager - Front Office primarily supports the Front Office operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient team performance. There may be times where this individual steps in to assist in the Housekeeping and Food & Beverage departments. This role assists with staff supervision, scheduling, training, and service delivery while maintaining Hyatt's high standards of hospitality. This role does require open availability, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support daily Front Office operations and colleague performance
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
• Assist with hiring, training, and ongoing development of team members
• Process payroll and support accurate timekeeping practices
• Provide personalized service and support for VIP guests
• Ensure guest satisfaction goals and service standards are consistently met
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
• Promote and enforce safety standards and operational procedures

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1+ year of progressive hotel leadership experience preferred.

  • Working experience with Opera Cloud and HotSOS
  • Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader.
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
