Job description

We're looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist with multi-state experience who can step in and keep payroll running smoothly and on time. This is a long-term contract role with a respected Tulsa employer.
What You'll Do
  • Run biweekly or semi-monthly payroll with a high level of accuracy
  • Handle multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees
  • Review timecards, adjustments, taxes, and garnishments for accuracy
  • Ensure payroll stays compliant with all regulations
  • Resolve employee payroll questions quickly and professionally
  • Assist with reporting, audits, and year-end processes
  • Support system updates and process improvements
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state processing, for over 100 employees
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance
  • Experience with payroll systems
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
