Role Description

This is a full-time position 4 days per week, approximately 30 - 32 hours per week, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll processes, from onboarding to final paychecks ensuring compliance with payroll laws, and administering garnishments. The role involves providing excellent payroll services to clients and their employees while offering administrative support related to payroll operations. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines are critical to this position.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Payroll Processing, including timely and accurate preparation of employee paychecks
  • Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Experience handling Garnishments and other payroll-related deductions
  • Strong understanding of Payroll Administration and Payroll Services
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in payroll management software and tools
  • Previous experience in payroll administration within a PEO or similar organization is a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required
