Team Summary: This role is part of NOA's Finance, under the Payments & Fraud team, and collaborates with external partners in the payment industry, as well as global and local internal Nintendo teams, to increase revenues and ensure positive consumer experience. The team also focuses and leads in strategies that optimize consumer payment method options, optimize payment authorization results and cost optimization, , all for NOA's Direct to Consumer (DTC) channels. Description of Duties: Continually seeks opportunities/initiatives that will optimize revenues and reduce payment costs. Provides payments subject matter expertise and business guidance that will optimize the business revenues, cost reduction payment objectives and a view to maintaining flexibility for future enhancements, where possible. Role requires analysis of scope, return on investment of opportunities and present to various executive leadership within NOA and NCL. Establishes, automates and maintains KPI's that will allow leadership and team to analyze and report results, identify areas of concern or identify further opportunities and to influence decisions. Maintains awareness of payment trends to identify industry trends and consumer preferences that may be appropriate for NOA or Nintendo globally to adopt and coordinates and aligns with Nintendo Company Limited (NCL) and other Nintendo regions for policy, process and system improvements. Monitors and evaluates performance, provides feedback, guidance, development, training and task directions to assigned staff (will directly manage a team of 2) Ongoing liaison with peer merchants and trade organizations to increase NOA's understanding of best practices and industry initiatives that improve Nintendo's position. A key function of this role is to liaise, educate NOA priorities and constantly align with NCL partners, while respecting cultural differences. Requires flexibility with evening calls. Manages NOA's various payment partner business relationships and performance. Understands payment rules, compliance requirements and changes to ensure NOA adheres to the regulations. Partner with IT in system performance and drives immediacy for resolution of issues and downtime with root cause analysis, where possible, for implementation of preventative measures. Manages Gateway and Payment partners to establish automated reporting frequency and KPIs on chargebacks and refunds. Manages team is responsible for payments and fraud execution on business initiative projects, and requires strong working relationship with Manager, Fraud Operations. Summary of Requirements: Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience in payments, with at least two (2) years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of Payment industry best practices and compliance requirements, develop initiatives that improve auth rates, maximizes revenues and reduces costs and redundancies. Advance skills in analyzing data, presenting observations, and making recommendations in meeting payment and company objectives. Experience in managing and leading payment vendor partner and merchant peer relationships. Business acumen in providing subject matter expertise guidance to internal business partners Experience in leading, managing and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives with the involvement of multiple internal and external partners. Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance. Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time. Relocation assistance may be available. This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
