About Us
At Vitesse, we're more than just a payments platform - we're the trusted financial infrastructure connecting the global insurance ecosystem. Tailor-made for insurers, brokers, MGAs, and TPAs, our unified platform optimises claims funds, enables real-time global payments, and delivers full financial control. Our impact is real: over $20 billion in payments across 200+ countries, hundreds of millions returned to insurers' balance sheets, and counting. We're licensed in the UK (FCA), Europe (DNB), and New York (NYDFS), with over 260 amazing colleagues worldwide. With $93 million recently raised in Series C funding from KKR, our journey is just beginning, and our ambitions are sky-high.
Headquartered in the heart of London and expanding across Europe and the US, Vitesse is where your ideas power tomorrow's insurance solutions. Are you ready to make a difference? You're in the right place.
About the Role
The Implementation Manager owns the day-to-day delivery of client and partner implementations for Vitesse's platform. You will turn the solution agreed during the sales cycle into a clear delivery plan, coordinate the right people at the right time, and keep customers, partners, and internal teams aligned from kickoff through go-live.
This is an implementation-owner role first and a technical-coordination role second. The right person will be comfortable around APIs, data flows, environments, and testing language, but will rely on Technical Integration Leads and engineering teams for deep technical design or troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own implementation plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, actions, decisions, and stakeholder communications from kickoff through early-life support.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into practical delivery plans, RACIs, readiness checklists, acceptance criteria, and clear success measures.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day delivery contact for clients, partners, and internal teams, making sure owners and next steps are always clear.
  • Coordinate setup activities across APIs, files, portals, environments, access, test data, and operational workflows by bringing in the right subject matter experts.
  • Facilitate project meetings, capture decisions, follow up actions, and escalate blockers with clear context, impact, options, and owners.
  • Support sandbox validation, user acceptance testing, defect triage, go-live planning, cutover readiness, and early post-launch support.
  • Maintain implementation documentation, including status updates, action logs, risk registers, dependency trackers, configuration notes, and handover materials.
  • Partner with Pre-Sales, Technical Integration, Account Implementations, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Support, and Operations to improve delivery quality and repeatability.

Role Requirements
  • Experience leading client implementations, onboarding, delivery management, project management, or implementation consulting in SaaS, FinTech, payments, or insurance.
  • Strong project management discipline, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, owners, timelines, dependencies, and risks without losing detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including confidence in facilitating meetings with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort working with software engineers, product owners, technical integration leads, customer success managers, operational teams, clients, and client partners.
  • Working understanding of APIs, authentication, environments, webhooks, data files, JSON/XML, errors, retries, and basic data-flow concepts.
  • Good judgment on when to involve a technical specialist, engineering, product, support, or operations expert.
  • Experience coordinating UAT, defect triage, go-live readiness, cutover planning, and early-life support.
  • Proficiency with monday.com or similar tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or Smartsheet.
  • Knowledge of insurance, payments, claims processing, treasury operations, reconciliation, or regulated financial workflows is highly desirable.
