 What you will be doing:

Job Summary / Purpose
  • The Senior Implementation Consultant – Campus ID is responsible for delivering high-quality remote implementations of identity, credentialing, commerce, and related enterprise applications. This role serves as a technical consultant and trusted advisor to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, supporting solution configuration, installation, integration, testing, training, go-live, and transition to ongoing support. Successful Implementation Consultants are self-motivated, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable learning new technologies and applications as the solution portfolio evolves.

Who you will work with:

This role is part of the Professional Services organization and works closely with Project Managers, other Implementation Consultants, Support, Product, Development, Sales, and other internal teams. Implementation Consultants also work directly with customers throughout the implementation lifecycle to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements and provide a positive implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform remote implementations of Identity and Commerce solutions, applications, and related technologies.
  • Configure, install, test, and troubleshoot Identity and Commerce software, applications, integrations, and supported hardware components, including solutions such as GET, CS Gold, and XML and API interface integrations.
  • Lead assigned technical implementation activities, including project preparation, configuration, testing, go-live support, and post-implementation follow-up.
  • Analyze customer environments, system requirements, databases, integrations, and network configurations to support solution deployment.
  • Validate customer requirements and translate business and technical needs into appropriate system configurations.
  • Configure and validate integrations between Campus ID applications and third-party systems.
  • Troubleshoot implementation-related technical issues, working collaboratively with Support, Product, Development, and third-party vendors to drive issues to resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of Campus ID products, applications, integrations, and implementation methodologies, and maintain accurate implementation documentation.

What you bring to the table:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, supporting, or administering enterprise software applications or technology solutions.
  • Experience installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting enterprise software applications in Microsoft Windows Server environments, along with working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, ports, firewalls) and system integration concepts, APIs, data interfaces, and identity management technologies.
  • Strong customer-facing, communication, and consultative skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and build trusted relationships throughout implementation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple customer projects and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within higher education, healthcare, corporate enterprise, or other complex customer environments; familiarity with payment technologies, transaction processing, PCI compliance, credentialing, or commerce applications, as well as LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, SAML, or Shibboleth.
