Job description

Job title: Product Manager - Payments
Job Summary:
The Product Manager, with oversight of the Vice President TrustCommerce Platform, manages the roadmap, prioritization, and commercial success of assigned TrustCommerce products. Working closely with engineering, sales, operations, compliance, implementation, customer success, executive leadership, and external partners, the Product Manager ensures products deliver measurable customer value while supporting the strategic objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
  • Own the product lifecycle from ideation through market launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Develop deep understanding of healthcare payment workflows and customer pain points.
  • Works with clients, partners, team members, vendors, and industry leaders to ensure products and related activities support the overall product strategy in alignment with organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Works to ensure products and services comply with corporate policies (e.g. data security, privacy, legal, certifications, and regulatory requirements, etc.).
  • Define and monitor product KPIs, such as adoption, utilization, release success, and support trends, etc.
  • Works with key stakeholders to recommend product strategies and plans including market and competitive assessments, identification of new product opportunities, product profitability analyses, requirements, business cases and release schedules for each product or service.
  • Participates in product-related sales and marketing activities, operational activities, product/ service revenue and profit tracking and forecasting.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) and represents the products and services throughout the organization and externally to clients and at industry events as required.
  • Works with project management teams to develop project plans, manage business project team delivery within project scope, and represents the product user for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Creates and maintains business requirements, prototypes, mock-ups and definitions for new and existing product offerings, along with managing the product backlog and the prioritization of features/functionality and defects for existing products or services.
  • Works with marketing and documentation teams to develop and maintain product and service documentation and communications based on product release planning.
  • Develops and maintains industry expertise and establishes a profile within the industry by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking best practices, and participating in a leadership role in industry activities.
  • Understand and adhere to organizational information security and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate enablement materials and training are available.
  • Produce and track product Key Performance Indicators and report on product performance to the TrustCommerce leadership team on at least a monthly basis.
  • Support key product deployments alongside the account management, implementation, and sales teams to ensure smooth and successful product delivery.
  • Manage and monitor product profitability.
  • Support escalated client issues for strategic product issues and requests. Such requests may be ad-hoc virtual meetings or on-site as required.
Environment/Conditions
Monday to Friday. Core office hours will be 8 AM – 5PM local time. Depending on assigned responsibilities or projects, some nights and weekends may be required.

  • Must possess practical work experience using Microsoft Office products, Atlassian products (e.g. Jira, Confluence, etc), Tableau, and similar products.
  • Strong collaborator, able to identify and engage key stakeholders to drive optimal results for the organization.
Education and Experience:
  • 3+ Years of Product Management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of e-commerce and the payments industry strongly preferred
