Job description

Job Summary:
Datum Technologies Group is seeking a Product Manager for Payment Solutions to support the delivery and orchestration of enterprise-scale payment initiatives. This role focuses on ensuring seamless payment experiences across digital and physical channels while managing vendor relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
• Own execution of assigned payment initiatives across in-store, mobile, and web platforms.
• Translate business, treasury, and technology requirements into clear product requirements, including technical feasibility, analytics, accessibility, and operational readiness.
• Manage end-to-end delivery lifecycle from discovery through launch and post-launch stabilization.
• Coordinate timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple concurrent payment workstreams.
• Serve as the primary product interface for payment vendors and partners, including processors, gateways, wallet providers, and POS vendors.
• Define and drive clarity on scope, sequencing, and delivery expectations with external partners.
• Support standardization of onboarding, change management, and escalation processes across vendors.
• Ensure all vendor deliverables align with internal priorities, governance, and operational requirements.
• Partner with Design, Engineering, Tech Ops, Security, Treasury, Finance, Legal, Brand, and Digital Product teams.
• Provide clear direction and prioritization support to Tech Ops for payment-related initiatives.
• Participate in working sessions to align on tradeoffs, sequencing, and delivery constraints.
• Ensure payment solutions are delivered with clear acceptance criteria, monitoring, and rollback plans.
• Track and communicate delivery status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Drive improvements in reliability, consistency, and operational efficiency across payment flows.
• Use data to evaluate prioritization, adoption, performance, and revenue/cost impact.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of product management experience.
• 5+ years of payments experience (payment processors, gateways, digital wallets, gift cards, or related transactional systems).
• 5+ years of experience working with external vendors and technology partners.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Strong experience with payment systems including processors, gateways, digital wallets, gift cards, or similar transactional platforms.
• Familiarity with fraud prevention, compliance, and payment reliability concepts.
• Hands-on experience writing epics and user stories, and leading Agile ceremonies using tools such as Jira.
• Proven experience working with external vendors and managing cross-organizational execution.
• Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
• Experience in QSR, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or large-scale consumer platforms.
