Job description

The Transaction Processing Supervisor leads and oversees a team responsible for accurate and timely child support payment processing for the Kentucky State Disbursement Unit. This role ensures operational excellence by driving performance against service-level agreements (SLAs), fostering team development, and maintaining high standards for quality, productivity, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure team performance consistently meets or exceeds established service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including productivity, quality, and attendance, and implement improvements as needed.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to staff, including resolving processing questions and escalations.

  • Oversee production operations, quality control, and Team Lead activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Maintain accountability for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all deliverables.

  • Identify process gaps, operational risks, and barriers; develop and implement effective solutions.

  • Develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures to support operational efficiency and compliance. 

  • Conduct periodic security and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to established protocols. 

  • Contribute to workforce planning, staffing projections, and payroll input.

  • Prepare and deliver reports on operational performance and metrics.

  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and employee engagement.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in data entry, mailroom operations, and/or outbound mail processing.

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail. 

  • Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend hours as needed.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $42,427 - $55,100.
