Job Description We are seeking a Lockbox Payment Processor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-volume payment processing, data entry, and production workflows and a proven ability to meet quality and productivity standards while following detailed client instructions. Responsibilities: Work weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (10-hour shifts). Prepare transactions for deposit by following established processing procedures in a production environment. Manually extract payments from envelopes and separate and sort checks and invoices per client specifications and workflow. Accurately key payment amounts from the legal line of checks into a proprietary software application using a PC. Read and follow account-specific instructions to prepare deposits accurately. Collect and prepare check copies for re-association as applicable. Physically re-associate check copies with invoices and envelopes by matching and stapling per customer requirements. Sort completed batches in the outgoing mail area for client return. Scan completed batches and review rejected transactions for accurate processing or return to client. Meet or exceed department productivity and quality standards. Operate high-speed machines while standing for extended periods. Perform work in accordance with all established processing procedures and general housekeeping standards. Perform other duties as assigned. No supervisory responsibilities. Required Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills with accurate data entry capability. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills: One year of experience in banking operations. 10-key or high-volume data entry experience. Working Conditions: Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs frequently.
