As a Senior Sales Operations Specialist on the Sales Operations team, you bring innovative solutions directly to the Sales Operations Director and create a real, measurable impact on their day-to-day operations.

As the Senior Sales Operations Specialist you will play a central role in keeping the Global Payment's Software division sales organization running efficiently and effectively. This position supports the Director of Sales Operations with the operational infrastructure that supports the sales team, by improving visibility into performance, strengthening processes, and maintaining the operational systems that support revenue growth. The role requires a mix of analytical thinking, process discipline, and strong communication.

What you'll own

  • Deliver data-driven insights: You will build, maintain, and enhance sales reporting and analytics, providing clear pipeline updates, deal activity summaries, and trend insights to support informed decision-making.

  • Translate data into action: You will use BI tools like Power BI to turn complex data into easy-to-understand, actionable insights for both sales teams and leadership.

  • Optimize sales operations: You will gain a deep understanding of workflows, identify process improvements, and develop standardized playbooks and documentation to drive efficiency and scalability.

  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration: You will act as a central point of contact for client requests, partnering with teams such as Legal and Client Assurance to ensure smooth execution.

  • Support tools, communication, and growth: You will manage and optimize the sales tech stack (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, DocuSign, Vidyard), support adoption, prepare stakeholder materials, and communicate updates-while staying current on evolving business needs.

This role follows a hybrid schedule, with three days per week in-office at either the Alpharetta, GA (Windward) or Lenexa, KS location.

What you'll bring
  • Experience: Bachelor's Degree or a Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp

  • Skills / Knowledge: Applies professional concepts and a solid understanding of business objectives to resolve moderately complex issues. Works independently but may seek guidance on novel or high-stakes projects.

  • Job Complexity: Analyzes operational situations and data to identify root causes and recommend improvements. Comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously and adapting to shifting priorities. Works cross-functionally across organizations outside area of expertise.

  • Supervision: Self-starter who takes initiative and drives projects forward. Works independently on assigned responsibilities with general oversight. May provide guidance or support to less experienced team members on an ad hoc basis.

  • Industry Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of the Software/SaaS industry.

  • Decision Making: Exercises sound judgment in day-to-day decisions and escalates appropriately. Acts with a bias toward resolution and follow-through.

  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable learning and managing multiple tools across a sales tech stack. Able to develop a functional understanding of how tools connect, where gaps exist and how they can be leveraged to reduce friction in the sales process and directly support revenue growth.

  • Process & Documentation: Demonstrated ability to map existing workflows, identify gaps, and translate improvements into clear, repeatable documentation. Takes ownership of a process from assessment through ongoing maintenance.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Proficient in building and maintaining operational reports and dashboards. Able to present data clearly to both operational and executive audiences. Uses a variety of systems, such as Salesforce or Gong. Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting findings cross-functionally and to leadership.
