Physical Therapist Director

Job Summary

Outpatient Physical Therapy Office in Strasburg, VA is hiring a Physical Therapist Director for a full time leadership position. Schedule is Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Annual compensation is $90,000-$120,000.

This is a great fit for a Physical Therapist who can balance direct treatment with team oversight. You'll support documentation, staff communication, clinic standards, and day-to-day operations, while also helping patients work through recovery plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead outpatient physical therapy services within the clinic
  • Perform evaluations and develop patient-specific treatment goals
  • Provide therapy for injuries, post-operative recovery, pain, weakness, and movement concerns
  • Supervise clinical staff and provide guidance when care questions arise
  • Review documentation, plans of care, and progress notes
  • Support compliance with state licensing rules and payer requirements
  • Help improve patient flow, scheduling processes, and clinical efficiency

Requirements

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of treatment planning and clinical documentation
