Job description

The Revenue Cycle Management Department at Northern Light Medical Management has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Payer Enrollment Coordinator with experience in insurance enrollment and revenue cycle management. We are a successful, growing, hospital-based Medical Management company looking for the perfect candidate who is dedicated to teamwork and operational excellence.

The incumbent will be responsible for facilitating the enrollment process for insurance plans on the payer side, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. The Payer Enrollment Coordinator will work closely with insurance providers and clients to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the enrollment process.

Responsibilities:

-  Gather provider information & updates provider’s CAQH profiles

- Assist clients with completing enrollment forms and gathering required documentation

- Communicate with insurance providers to address any issues or discrepancies during the enrollment process

- Enroll group and providers with payers

- Must have knowledge and experience of payer enrollment requirements for in network & out of network providers

- Maintain updated records of client enrollment statuses and insurance information

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition for clients between enrollment and service delivery

- Provide support and guidance to clients throughout the enrollment process, answering any questions or concerns they may have

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in insurance enrollment requirements and regulations

- Collaborate with the billing and claims teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance claims

Qualifications:

- Degree or a combination of education and training

- Must have previous experience in insurance enrollment coordination and revenue cycle management

- Experience working with Credential Stream/Verity or other similar credentialing software

Knowledge of CAQH process

- Knowledge of State Medicaid requirements

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications and other relevant software programs

- Knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

This position is onsite 8am - 5pm, M - F at our Hollywood corporate office.
