Job description

We are looking for part time Custodians. The Custodian is responsible for keeping assigned buildings and areas clean and safe.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Clean, sweep, dust mop, and wet mop floors, stairways, and corridors to ensure cleanliness.
  • Identify cleaning problems and determine type of chemicals and equipment necessary for specific cleaning tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of housekeeping equipment.
  • Clean and wash windows inside and out.
  • Remove debris for safety from entrance and exits to buildings.
  • Check security system of building to ensure all windows and doors are locked.
  • Safely operate various cleaning tools including but not limited to: broom, brush, mop, bucket, wet and dry vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, floor cleaners, scrubbing machines, and high speed floor buffer.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have 3 months of custodial work experience.

Additional Requirements:
  • Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
