Job description

Join a dedicated team committed to safety, efficiency, and teamwork as a Loader Operator. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment to move vehicles and large parts throughout the yard, support production operations, and help maintain a clean and organized work environment. Loader Operators play a key part in ensuring vehicles are positioned safely for customers and that yard operations run smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work outdoors and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities
  • Operate loaders and other heavy equipment to move vehicles and large vehicle parts within the yard and to designated locations
  • Organize incoming and outbound vehicles according to company protocols
  • Crush end-of-life vehicles as directed
  • Load crushed vehicles onto semis in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with yard maintenance, including row clean-up and backfilling dirt using a skid steer
  • Sweep asphalt and maintain overall yard cleanliness
  • Climb in and out of equipment and vehicles, and lift items as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members in person and by radio to coordinate tasks and ensure safety
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
  • Address disputes professionally and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Keep loaders and shared work areas clean and organized
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, associateโ€™s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience operating heavy forklifts or similar equipment preferred, but not required
  • Ability to handle inventory with care and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to manage time effectively and stay productive during downtime
