Our mission is to unlock Bitcoin's full potential by transforming it from a passive asset into an everyday financial tool.

As part of this vision, we're launching GoBTC Pay — a payment solution that enables businesses to accept Bitcoin through a simple, secure, and cost-efficient payment infrastructure.

We're launching GoBTC Pay market by market, starting with Miami USA and we're looking for ambitious Business Development professionals to help us build merchant adoption from the ground up.

About the Role

As a Regional Merchant Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving merchant acquisition and commercial growth in your assigned region.

You'll identify high-potential businesses, build relationships with decision-makers, negotiate commercial agreements, and help merchants successfully launch GoBTC Pay.

This is a high-impact hunter role where success is measured by the quality of merchants you sign, transaction volume, and overall market growth.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the merchant acquisition strategy for your region.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified merchant opportunities.
  • Prospect, approach, and acquire new merchants through outbound and relationship-driven sales.
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed agreement and successful onboarding.
  • Identify high-value merchant opportunities across multiple industries.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure successful merchant launches.
  • Drive merchant activation and increase transaction volume after launch.
  • Develop local partnerships and co-marketing initiatives that accelerate merchant acquisition.
  • Represent GoBTC Pay at business events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Continuously gather market intelligence and competitor insights.
  • Report pipeline health, sales forecasts, and commercial performance to leadership.

  • Ability to build a pipeline independently.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward action.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Existing business network within USA.
  • Fluent English.
