Job description

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Cash Management Relationship Manager is responsible for the development and retention of Cash Management revenue and deposit growth.ย  In conjunction with Commercial Loan Officers, Business Bankers and Branch Managers, plans and implements a calling program designed to achieve new business and expand the bankโ€™s business deposit account portfolio.ย  The Cash Management Relationship Manager will demonstrate subject matter expertise and work with business partners to identify prospects for Cash Management Services, prepare proposals, finalize sales and oversee the implementation of services.ย  The Cash Management Relationship Manager will proactively call on existing business customers to maintain service satisfaction, and to cross-sell additional services. Candidates must perform external sales activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform sales and service calls โ€“ in person or by phone
  • Travel to business offices and other off-site locations
  • Gather information for sales proposals and customer implementation
  • Preparation of proposals for prospective customers
  • Prepare and negotiate customer agreements and set-up forms
  • Assist other Cash Management team members with additional duties, as assigned by supervisor
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Five or more yearsโ€™ experience in bank sales and relationship management (preferably in Cash Management).
  • Experience in external sales is required
  • Extensive knowledge of cash management products including, but not limited to, online banking, remote deposit, ACH, wires, Positive Pay, Bill Pay products and mobile banking.
  • Familiarity with merchant services and credit cards
  • Familiarity with bank regulations and procedures
  • General computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Motivated to succeed
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team member
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills โ€“ oral and written
  • Excellent with organization and time management
  • Bachelorย or associate degree preferred
The base salary range for the Cash Management Relationship Manager is $120,000 to $150,000 annually.
