Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions, submit PCR for incorrect work instructions, contribute to continuous improvement
  • Team Player that communicates effectively with peers and business partners
  • Uses existing procedures and basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems
  • Complete daily powered industrial truck inspections, daily pallet jack inspections, maintain good housekeeping practices
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, forklift, WAV, Taylor Dunn, JLG, reciprocating saw, screw gun, wrapping machine both electric and manual, handheld radio, gauges, fax machine, and copy machine.
  • Utilize various hand tools such as tape measure
  • Complete 21 lines per hour
  • Verify part number and quantity, then shelve returns
  • Pick items for production
  • Help load truck and prepare items to be shipped
  • Compile inventory and stock data
  • Computer research and input

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)
  • Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Ability to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment PPE
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
  • Must be able to climb, squat, kneel, push, pull, lift up to 49 pounds occasionally, and lift up to 30 lbs. constantly
  • Must be able to attain a forklift license
  • Work in a non-climate controlled area
  • Valid driver's license
