Job Description:
As an Experienced Pawnbroker at Pawn Pro, you will play a crucial role in assessing the value of items brought in by customers and negotiating fair loans or purchases. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide information about the pawn process, interest rates, and terms.
  • Answer questions and address concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Item Appraisal:
  • Evaluate the value of items brought in for pawn or sale.
  • Use your expertise and knowledge to determine authenticity and condition.
  • Negotiate fair loan amounts or purchase prices with customers.
3. Buyback Processing:
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Explain loan terms and conditions clearly to customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations governing pawn transactions.
4. Security and Compliance:
  • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations regarding pawn transactions.
  • Comply with all legal requirements and reporting procedures.
5. Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Pawnbroker, preferably in a pawn shop or similar environment.
· Strong knowledge of assessing the value of a wide range of items, including jewelry, electronics, firearms, and more.
· Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
· Familiarity with local and state pawn regulations and compliance requirements.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
· High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
· Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
