Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Solid Waste Operations

Hourly Range: $24.40 - $30.51

CR&R is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of critical equipment used in trash collection, recycling, and material movement. This role focuses on excavators, grizzlies, backhoes, loaders, pavers, and related heavy machinery that keep operations running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
 

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment including excavators, grizzlies, backhoes, loaders, and pavers
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, and mechanical systems
• Complete shop and field repairs
• Document work performed

What We’re Looking For
 

• 2–5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Industrial or waste environment experience preferred
