Job Position: Asphalt Paving Foreman
Position Overview
Park Construction Company, a regional Highway/Heavy contractor established in Minneapolis, is searching for an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman. The right person will demonstrate a high safety standard, leadership skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
This position is within Park's Paving division, and will work on projects in the Minneapolis - St. Paul metropolitan area. Park offers an excellent salary, benefit package, and promotional opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Foreman experience in the highway, street and bridge construction industry
  • Knowledge: Generally-accepted construction methods for this industry
  • Education: High school or equivalent
  • Ability to:
    • Lead and organize skilled workers
    • Use and direct the use of heavy equipment pertinent to this industry, as well as with light equipment and tools
    • Use packaged software on laptop computer
    • Understand construction document requirements and blueprints to a sufficiently high degree
