Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for the sizing, adjustment, and maintenance of concrete pavers to ensure optimal performance and the successful installation of high-quality pavement. Your expertise in handling various paving equipment will contribute to the successful completion of projects while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards. Responsibilities:· Set up, adjust and maintain paving equipment to ensure proper operation.· Ensure paver widths and depths meet project specifications.· Work with various paver models including: Guntert Pavers, CMI Pavers, Gomaco Pavers, and DBI Pavers.· Troubleshoot and perform regular maintenance on paving equipment.· Monitor equipment performance to ensure high-quality pavement production.· Adhere to safety and quality standards during paving operations. Requirements:· Technical skills in concrete paving and compaction operations.· Strong work ethic and willingness to work as a team to efficiently complete jobs to the highest customer satisfaction.· Set up and adjust concrete pavers (widths, depths, screed calibration) for optimal performance.· Troubleshoot and maintain paving equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.· Work closely with paving crews to ensure smooth and efficient paving operations.· Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to maximize equipment uptime.· Ensure proper calibration for ride quality and smoothness in paving operations.· Follow all safety protocols and industry best practices.· Ability to use arms and hand to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.· Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.· Ability to perform frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.· Must be able to see and hear well (naturally or with correction.)· Ability to travel and work overtime, as requested. Preferred Qualifications:· Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish)
