Customer / Jobsite Coordinator

Rate: $27-38 hr. DOE
Division: MD Beltsville Hours: Full time 7:00 – 3:30 PM

Job Summary

The Customer / Jobsite Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact between the company, homeowners, business owners, and field crews during utility replacement projects. This role combines administrative responsibilities with significant time spent in the field, with approximately 85% of the work performed in the field and 15% in an office or administrative setting. The position involves daily travel throughout the DMV region to residential and commercial locations to explain project scope, coordinate access, and schedule appointments. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and comfortable communicating face-to-face with a wide range of customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer & Community Coordination
  • Spend approximately 85% of work time in the field, traveling daily throughout the DMV region to homes and businesses
  • Meet in person with property owners, tenants, and managers to explain the utility replacement scope of work, timeline, and what to expect before, during, and after construction
  • Address questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and courteously
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for inspections, construction access, and related activities
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and community members throughout the project

Field & Project Support

  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and field crews regarding customer access and scheduling needs
  • Document customer interactions, access agreements, and special requests
  • Verify jobsite readiness and communicate any issues that could impact schedules or productivity
  • Serve as a liaison between the field and office to ensure accurate, up-to-date information flow
  • Administrative Duties (Approx. 15%)
  • Maintain customer records, logs, and appointment schedules
  • Prepare and distribute notices, door hangers, emails, or other project communications
  • Update internal systems with customer feedback, access status, and project notes
  • Assist with general office and project administrative tasks as needed
