Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of UX & UI designers and testers
- Establish user groups, user testing processes and regular feedback mechanisms
- Develop, measure improve user experience KPIs
- Develop and enforce design conventions, standards and patterns
- Work with customers and other stakeholders to research functional and UX requirements
- 3+ years managing UX/UI teams
- 5+ years design experience for a web based SAAS product
- Expert experience with design & UX tools (Axure, Sketch, Adobe Suite, etc)
- Experience with developing, managing and reporting on user testing results
- Experience establishing and running a user group
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with responsive design
- Experience developing and enforcing a style guide and consistent design patterns
- HTML & CSS/SASS experience a plus
- Experience with Material design or other design frameworks a plus
- Comfortable as a hands on contributor to designs, mockups and wire frames
- Thinks holistically about user experience: Understands that user experience is more than just a well-designed screen (or application)
- Able to be a passionate advocate for customers while knowing how and when to compromise
- Experience working in an Agile/Lean development process
- Self-motivated and able to manage their team to meet key delivery timelines
