The ideal Technical Designer is detail-oriented, obsessed with appareldevelopmentand committed to providing outstanding customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with cross-functionalpeersand external partners toensure product is aligned withdevelopment strategiesand business needs

  • Develop clear, concise Tech Packsto includemeasurementworksheetandconstruction imagesto align with Design intent and Brand DNA

  • Evaluate samples to ensure product specifications, quality and construction standards are being executed

  • Follow the sample through fit approvals to productionto ensure intentismet

  • Communicate fit comments to suppliers to achieve desiredcorrections

  • Collaboratewithstakeholders to streamline product development and production processes, escalating when leadership involvement is needed

  • Build trusting relationships with suppliers andmaintainclose dialogueregardingcapacity and calendar

  • Align and deliver to agreed calendar milestones

  • Partnerwith Pattern Engineer and Design Teamon block pattern development to align withbrand benchmarks

  • Analyze market researchand customer review datatodrive recommendations

  • Conduct wear tests

  • Collaborate withinternal teams tomaintainsample organization throughout development and production lifecycle

  • Comfortably work across various categories and product types

  • Exposure to fit model go-sees and measuring live models

  • Schedule and lead fit sessions

  • Participateinspecial projects asdirected

  • Partner with and mentornew-hiresthrough various Technical Design stations of work

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor'sDegreepreferably inApparel Design,Apparel Manufacturing,Pattern Making or related fieldor equivalent industry experience

  • Minimum5year'sexperienceinTechnical Design or related field

  • Clear,effective written and verbal communication

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively


Pay Range Details

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 Annual
