Job Summary:
Crowe is one of the largest public accounting, consulting, and technology firms in the United States. They are seeking a Client-Facing Senior Technical Architect specializing in Dynamics 365 ERP implementations to lead the design and delivery of high-value solutions, ensuring exceptional quality and client satisfaction across complex projects.
Responsibilities:
• Own the target architecture for D365 F&O and integrated applications across Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault).
• Select and apply the right integration patterns (Dual‑write/Dataverse, OData, DMF, File/Batch, Event‑driven, API‑first) and design secure, versioned APIs.
• Design data & analytics strategies (BYOD/Export to Data Lake, ADLS, Fabric/Synapse‑ready models, Power BI semantic models) to enable reporting, automation, and AI.
• Embed non‑functional requirements (performance, reliability, security, compliance, operability, cost) with clear SLOs and testable acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the primary client‑facing technical lead from discovery through go‑live and hypercare; guide backlog, scope, estimates, and technical risk mitigation.
• Lay the foundation for delivery by setting up environments, integration patterns, security, and DevOps pipelines that enable teams to deliver features quickly and safely
• Ensure technical deliverables meet rigorous quality standards, align with strategic objectives, and foster a referenceable client experience that strengthens Crowe’s reputation.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards: code review quality bars, branching, solution layering, extensibility (X++/extensions), telemetry, and documentation.
• Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration with broader Crowe Technical specialists and Microsoft FastTrack to enhance project outcomes.
• Build ERP and integration solutions that surface the right data in the right way, enabling Copilot, reporting, and advanced analytics.
• Embed automation and intelligence into processes to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
• Help clients adopt Copilot and AI capabilities in a controlled, value-driven manner, balancing innovation with compliance and security.
• Shape proposals/SoWs, lead client demos and technical deep‑dives, and contribute to estimates and delivery approaches.
• Create reusable accelerators, reference architectures, and best‑practice playbooks, mentor engineers and consultants.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years designing and delivering enterprise solutions on Microsoft platforms; 5+ years with D365 F&O/AX and/or CE (at least 2–3 full cycle implementations in an architect or lead role).
• Bachelor's degree
• Hands on knowledge of D365 F&O extensibility (X++ review competence, extension patterns, data entities, DMF), environment strategy, and LCS.
• Proven architecture experience across Power Platform (model‑driven/canvas apps, Power Automate flows, governance/ALM) and Azure integration services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus/Event Grid).
• Strong integration track record (OData/REST, webhooks/events, batch/ETL via ADF/Fabric, message‑based patterns).
• Demonstrated ownership of non‑functional design (security, performance, resiliency, observability) with measurable SLOs and test strategies.
• Production experience with ALM (solutions, pipelines, Git, unit/automated UI tests).
• Strong grasp of security & governance (Entra ID, RBAC, DLP, environment strategy).
• Microsoft certifications (one or more): Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert, Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert / Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Preferred:
• Experience with Dataverse/Dualwrite, D365 Supply Chain/Commerce/CE integrations, or Manufacturing domain depth.
• Familiarity with Copilot Studio (plugins, orchestration, connectors) and RAG patterns.
• People management experience: team leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and resource planning.
• Excellent client communication (executive ready storytelling, clear tradeoff articulation) and consulting acumen (scope, estimates, risk/issue mgmt).
