Job Purpose:
Ourpassionis creatingcraveable, memorable dining experiences.The Restaurant Host serves as the first point of contact for Q39 guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while managing the efficient flow of guests into the dining room, patio, and bar. This roleis responsible forgreeting guests, managing reservations and the waitlist, coordinating seating assignments, andsettingthe tone for a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Greeting- Welcome all guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.

  • Reservation & Waitlist Management- Accurately manage the waitlist, quote wait times, and record guest information in the reservation system.

  • Seating Strategy- Plan and rotate guest seating tooptimizeservice flow and server balance, including large parties usingQ39 seating standards.

  • Special Requests- Accommodate guest seating preferences whenever possible and communicate needs to servers and management.

  • Guest Escort & Introduction- Escort guests to tables, present menus, and provide server introductions.

  • Turnover & Cleanliness- Assist with cleaning and resetting tables;maintaina clean and organized host stand and entry area.

  • Team Collaboration- Work with the Front of theHouseteam to ensure seamless service, dividing responsibilities as needed.

  • Guest Departure- Thank guests and invite them to return, creating craveable and memorable dining experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality setting.

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.

  • Familiarity with reservation or POS systems preferred.

  • Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor.
