We are hiring for a Dental Assistant to join our Livingston team!

Position: Dental Assistant

Location: Livingston

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, 36 hrs/week (Tues-Fri)

COMPENSATION: Non-certified- $19.11-$20.20/hr + $2.30/hr locality differential

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Support: Assist dentists with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Data Entry: Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic health records (EHR) system.
  • Room Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
  • Patient Education: Provide patient education and support.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
What we are looking for:
  • High School Diploma/GED and valid driver's license are required.
  • BLS Certification upon hire
  • Intent to complete dental board-approved radiology certification (DANB RHS or other)
    • To be completed within 6 months of hire date, expected to retake exam within 3 months of first written exam attempt and taken until passes
  • Graduate of a certified dental assistant program is preferred
  • Competent computer skills
  • Two (2) years of dental clinic experience is preferred
  • Healthcare related experience is preferred
