Job description

Help our hospice team support patients and families-behind the scenes.

Gentiva Hospice is looking for compassionate, dependable volunteers to serve as Patient Support Assistants (PSAs) and provide administrative and communication support to our hospice team.

PSAs help with tasks that keep our team organized and connected to the patients and families we serve. Responsibilities may include answering phones, light office tasks, data entry, organizing information, making friendly check-in calls, and assisting with communication between our hospice team, patients, families, and volunteers.

This is not a clinical position, and no medical experience is required. We provide the necessary hospice volunteer orientation and training.

We're looking for someone who is organized, reliable, comfortable communicating with others, and enjoys helping behind the scenes.
