Description
BDR Solutions, LLC is hiring Material Coordinators/Inventory Specialists to support inventory and logistics operations at VA medical facilities across the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Area. This role performs advanced inventory management duties supporting clinical operations and patient care.
Duties
  • Manage medical and non-medical inventory using automated systems (e.g., GIP)
  • Perform daily, periodic, and wall-to-wall inventories
  • Monitor stock levels, expiration dates, recalls, and discrepancies
  • Replenish secondary stock locations and coordinate deliveries
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and reports
  • Comply with safety, infection control, and PPE requirements
  • Communicate with clinical and logistics staff to resolve supply issues

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 8 years of inventory, logistics, or supply chain experience (healthcare or warehouse environment preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Basic math and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including email, file management, and navigating common software applications.

Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicle

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting federal government site
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification recognized in the state

Schedule
  • West LA VA: Rotating shifts, Sunday-Saturday including Federal holidays
  • (7:00-3:30 | 2:30-11:00 | 10:30-7:00)
  • All other VA sites: Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 am-3:30 pm

The hourly compensation range for this position is $29.00-31.00 depending on location plus Health & Welfare. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug test. This position is also subject to the company's random drug testing policy.
This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment is not guaranteed and will proceed only if the associated contract is awarded and funded.
In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance. Individuals may also be subject to background investigation including, but not limited to criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
