Job description

Your future role at a glance

Location: Milwaukee, WI 

Facility: St. Francis Hospital 

Specialty: Multi-specialty 

Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift 

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Greet patients and visitors, respond to questions/concerns and directs them to appropriate location.
  • Provide on-going communication with clinical staff regarding patient status.
  • Collect and enter all necessary demographic, clinical, billing and insurance information from patients or responsible parties and determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.
  • Explain processes and forms to patients prior to securing signatures and ensure that all documents are properly signed and witnessed as required.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. 

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous education in medical terminology strongly preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Experience in the job related field preferred.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • 36 hours a week | Between M-F | 4 days a week | Flex hours between 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM| No weekends or holidays 
  • Hospital or healthcare experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills
