Position: Patient Services Coordinator
Job Type: Full-time

Overview:
The Patient Services Coordinator is accountable and responsible for checking out patients at the completion of their appointment. Greeting patients at registration, confirming, collecting patient information and payments, and scheduling appointments in practice management and electronic medical record software. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and great customer service skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Consistently demonstrates the organization's mission, core values, and policies.    
  • Knows and adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety and medical information.
  • Facilitating patients through the check-out process.
  • Scheduling and collecting payment
  • Responsible for thoroughly and accurately inputting/scanning patient data into EMR system.
  • Participation in department meetings.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Proficient in typing and Basic computer literacy
  • Experience with practice management software
  • Customer service experience
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of health insurance benefit plans, copays, deductibles, and coinsurance
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule when needed
  • Ability to work with a team and possibly go to other locations
Qualifications and Education Requirements
