Salaried**About the Position**Under the direction of the Quality Director/ Patient Safety Officer, the Patient Safety Specialist serves as a facilitator in developing, implementing, analyzing, coordinating, and evaluating patient safety events, systems, and processes. Coordinates performance improvement and patient safety initiatives to support a culture of safety and reduce health care errors and risks. This may include participation in data analysis, chart reviews, root cause analysis, focus studies specific to patient safety, staff/patient education, patient safety rounding and observations.
