  • Multidisciplinary team in the EDincludes:ED MD, ED APP, ED RN, C-RN, Flow Coordinator,Unit Based Educator,RN, ED Paramedics, Patient Care Technicians, Radiology staff, Respiratory staff, Patient Experience and Patient Access.

Responsibilities:

The Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator position is responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner. This position will coordinate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. The Patient Flow Coordinator appropriately delegates the workload and is a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism in the ED.

Qualifications: Education
  • Graduate from a nursing program Required
  • Bachelors Degree of Nursing Preferred
Work Experience
  • 1 year of Emergency Department experience, as a registered nurse (RN) Required
  • Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
  • ACLS Required
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
  • CEN - Certified Emergency Room Nurse Preferred
